Search

The box in the top bar searches for a callsign. The Search page behind it also tidies: duplicates, odd CQ zones, and contacts LoTW has not confirmed.

Find a call

The box is labelled Callsign / Gridsquare. Type a call, or a locator, and search.

Exact callsign match only stops a search for G4 returning every call that starts that way. Leave it unticked and the match is partial. The results card says which of the two you used, and how many contacts came back. Recent searches sit under the box once you have run a few.

The top bar does the same job for a callsign, without leaving the page you are on. If your account has the quick log box, there are two buttons next to it: search, and a plus that opens General Logging with that call ready to type. Which one the Enter key does is a switch on your account.

The other tabs

  • Advanced Search is a set of rules you build: a field, a comparison, and a value. Search runs it. Reset clears the rules. Save query keeps a search you will run again, and it appears under Stored queries. Run Query plays the one you picked. Edit queries renames or removes the ones you have saved.
  • Duplicate QSOs finds contacts that look like the same QSO logged twice. Have a look before you delete either of them. Two contacts with the same station on the same day are sometimes real.
  • Incorrect CQ Zones is a list of contacts whose zone does not match the country Cloudlog expects. Useful after a big import.
  • QSOs unconfirmed on LoTW is the pile that LoTW has not matched. It only means something once you are uploading to LoTW.

Search looks at the active logbook. Switch logbook first if you are hunting through the club call.
