OQRS requests¶
OQRS is how another station asks you for a card through the web, instead of sending a card first. The requests land in your callsign menu, OQRS Requests. A number on that item is how many are waiting.
Switching it on¶
On the station location, OQRS Enabled is the switch. OQRS Text is the note the visitor reads, the usual "bureau is fine, direct wants a few pounds for the postage" sort of thing. OQRS Email alert tells you when a request arrives. The alert needs email set up by an administrator, under Global Options.
The public side is the page a visitor opens. It searches the logbook you have made public. A request against a callsign that is not in the log comes back as not in the log, which is useful, because it tells you the contact never got written down.
Working the list¶
The filters along the top are De (which of your stations the request is for), Dx (the callsign that asked), OQRS Status, and how many rows to show. Status is Open request, Not in log request, or Request done. Search applies the filter. Reset clears it.
The method on a request is Bureau, Direct, or Electronic. Direct is the one where the visitor was asked to write an address.
Tick the rows you have dealt with. With selected, Mark as done moves them to Request done and the badge on the menu drops. Delete removes a request you are not going to answer.
Print Requested QSLs, next to this menu item, is the printing step for cards whose QSL Sent field is Requested or Queued. That page is Print requested QSLs.
