Debug information

Admin, Debug Information. This is the page to open when something looks wrong, and the page to copy when you ask for help.

Picture needed: debug.png Debug Information, the folder permissions card and the PHP modules card. Cover any password, and crop a full server path if you do not want it public. The PHP version and the module list are the useful part.

What is on it

The page is a stack of cards.

  • Cloudlog Information. The version you are running.
  • Server Information. PHP, and the limits the server has set.
  • Database Information. Which database Cloudlog is talking to.
  • Codeigniter. The framework version. Useful on a bug report, and safe to ignore otherwise.
  • Folder Permissions. Whether Cloudlog can write to the folders it needs. A folder that is not writable breaks backups, uploads, or country files, depending on which folder it is.
  • PHP Settings. Memory, upload size, and the clock timezone.
  • Session Information. The login that is open. Cover this if you paste the page in public.
  • PHP Modules. mysqli, curl, mbstring, xml, zip, and gd are the ones a working Cloudlog wants. XML is the country files. ZIP is backups and plugins. OpenSSL, which is built in, is LoTW. A missing module is a red row, and it is the thing to fix.
  • Git Information. Which commit the files came from, when the install was made from git.

When you ask on the discussions board, paste this page in with the question. It saves a round of "which PHP are you on".

A bug in Cloudlog itself, something the program does that it should not, belongs in GitHub issues. The discussions board is for getting the station going.
