Call History

Call History is for membership lists. FOC, CW Ops, a club, a contest team: a file of callsigns, and a label for who they are. While you type a callsign, Cloudlog can show that the station is on the list.

Open it from Tools, Call History. Each user has their own files. Another operator on the same Cloudlog does not see yours.

Picture needed: call-history.png The upload form, with a file chosen and an organisation label such as FOC, and the table of uploaded files underneath.

The file

The file is the kind of list N1MM uses, .txt or .csv. Upload it, give it a file label you will recognise later, and an organisation label. The organisation label is the short name that gets offered for the contact, such as FOC.

Priority decides which file wins when a callsign is on more than one list. A higher number is considered first. Enable and Disable leave a file in the list without using it. Delete removes it.

Writing it into the log

Uploading the file does not change old contacts. Scan Logbook looks through the active log for contacts whose SIG field is still empty, and shows what it would write. Tick the ones you want. Apply Selected writes the organisation into SIG and the membership detail into SIG Info.

Contacts that already have a SIG are left alone. That is deliberate. A summit reference or a WAB square already stored on the contact is not overwritten by a membership list.

If the preview says nothing matched, the callsigns in the file are not in the log, the date filter starts too late, or those contacts already have a SIG.
