WAS

Worked All States counts the 50 US states in the active logbook. Tick WAS under Award Settings and it appears in the Awards menu. Award Info on the page points at the ARRL rules.

What it reads

The state stored on the contact. On the logging screen the US state box appears when the station you are working is in the United States. Pick the state there. A contact with no state is invisible to this page, even when the callsign is obviously American. You can fill it later on the QSO.

Filters

The filter card matches DXCC, with a shorter set of presets: Show Confirmed Only, Show Worked Only, Show Unworked, and Reset All.

• Show worked, Show confirmed, and Show not worked.
• QSL type. QSL, LoTW, and eQSL. QSL and LoTW start ticked. A confirmed state is one whose contact carries a type you have ticked.
• Band. Every band, or one band you have marked for WAS on Bands.
• Mode.

Show applies it. Reset clears it. Show WAS Map draws the states. Export CSV downloads the table as was_table.csv.

The numbers

WAS Progress shows total worked and total confirmed. The milestone card is All Worked and All Confirmed, each one ticked when the count reaches 50. Summary under the table is the same totals for the rows in front of you. Click a state when you want the contacts that put it there.
