Bandmap¶
The bandmap is the DX Cluster drawn as a band. Each spot sits on the frequency it was heard. You open it from Contest Logging, the Bandmap button, or from Tools, DX Cluster, the Bandmap button there. It opens in its own window.
It uses the same feed as the list. The corner says Connected or Disconnected. There is no address to configure.

The toolbar¶
The band dropdown is the bands you have switched on under Bands. It opens on 20m. Zoom in when the spots are packed. Tune, then Center, moves the window to a frequency you type, in kHz.
Spots is how many are on the band you are looking at. Total is how many the window is holding. A spot fades as it ages, and it is removed after about 30 minutes. The list on the DX Cluster page keeps them for about two hours, so a spot can still be on the list after it has left the map.
Auto Track follows the radio. The bandmap has no radio dropdown of its own. It follows whichever radio is selected on the logging screen or on the DX Cluster page. Pick the radio there first, then open the map.
Clicking a spot¶
Click a callsign and the window centres on that frequency. If a radio is selected, Cloudlog also asks the rig to go there. A skimmer spot, one whose spotter ends in -#, asks for CW as well. Aurora, or another program using the same radio link, does the actual tuning. With no radio selected, the click only moves the map.
Hover a spot for the callsign, the frequency, who spotted it, the comment, and the age.
