Modes¶
Admin, Modes. This is which modes appear when someone logs a contact. The page says so itself: active modes are in the QSO Mode dropdown, inactive modes are hidden and cannot be picked.
A contact already logged in a hidden mode stays in the log. Hiding a mode stops you picking it next time, which is what you want for the ones you will never use.

The table¶
Each row is:
- Mode and Sub-Mode. FT8 is a sub-mode of the data mode it sits under. The dropdown offers the name you will recognise.
- SSB / DATA / CW. The group stored with that mode. USB and LSB are SSB. The Mode filter on the DX Cluster does not read this column. The cluster guesses CW, SSB, or digital from the spot itself.
- Status. The cell says active or not active. Activate and Deactivate are the button on that row.
Edit changes the name or the group. Delete removes the row. Hide a mode you might want later. Delete is for one that should never have been there.
Create a Mode adds a row when the dropdown is missing something you work. Activate All and Deactivate All are under the table.
