IOTA

IOTA counts island groups. The reference looks like EU-005. Tick IOTA under Award Settings. Award Info on the page is the short note about the scheme, with a link to IOTA.

What it reads

The IOTA reference on the contact. On the logging screen you pick it from the list. You do not type a free-form name. Working a station who happens to be on an island, and leaving the box empty, does not count. Fill it later on the QSO if you forgot it at the time.

Filters

  • Include deleted. Groups that have left the IOTA list, still sitting on older contacts.
  • Show worked, Show confirmed, and Show not worked.
  • Continents.
  • Band. Bands you have marked for IOTA on Bands.
  • Mode.

Show applies it. Show Map draws the groups. A group only appears when that reference was stored on a contact in the active logbook.
