Plugins

Admin, Plugin Manager. A plugin is an extra someone has written for Cloudlog: another award, another tool. If nobody has handed you one, you can ignore this page. An empty list says "No plugins installed yet."

Picture needed: plugins.png Plugin Manager, the upload box, and the installed list. An empty list is a fair shot if you have no plugins.

Installing one

Upload Plugin takes a zip. The package has to contain a manifest.json at the top of the zip, which is the plugin's nameplate. Upload and Install puts it in the list.

The page shows a security warning. A plugin runs inside your Cloudlog. Install ones you were given by someone you trust.

The list

Each row has the name, a short description, the slug, the version, the status, whether the files are still on disk, and the date it was installed.

  • Enabled means Cloudlog is using it. Disable switches it off and leaves it installed.
  • Disabled means it is installed and idle. Enable turns it back on.
  • Files is Present or Missing. Missing means the plugin is in the list and not on disk. Disable it, or install the zip again.
  • Delete removes it. The button asks first.

An award that comes from a plugin can add its own line to the Awards menu, once the plugin is enabled and you have ticked that award.

Writing one is covered under Plugins in Developers.
