Country files

Admin, Update Country Files. The country list is how Cloudlog turns a callsign into a DXCC entity while you log, and how the DXCC award counts. The dashboard warns you when the list is empty. Run this after install, and again when you hear that a prefix has moved.

The data comes from Club Log.

DXCC lookup data

Update DXCC Data downloads a fresh list. The status box under the button tells you what happened.

After a download, the log does not rewrite itself. Two buttons do that on purpose:

  • Check QSOs missing DXCC data fills in contacts that have no country yet.
  • Re-check all QSOs in logbook walks the whole log and updates countries that have changed. Use this after a prefix moves, and expect it to take a while on a big log.

Check QSOs missing continent data fills in the continent where it is blank.

The server needs the PHP XML module for the download. If the page says so, that is an install problem. Debug lists the modules.

Distance data

The other tab fills in distance on contacts where it is missing. Distance needs a gridsquare on both ends. A contact with a blank locator still has no distance after this runs.
